Mit großer Euphorie sind wir dieses Jahr in die RO-KA-TECH 2023 gestartet. Gleich zwei Weltneuheiten, weitere Highlights und innovative technische Lösungen, eröffneten ein neues Spektrum in der Kanalreinigung: der Super 2000 e-tec – das erste voll-elektrische Kanalreinigungsfahrzeug mit Wasserrecycling und der ECO CAT Cityline, das kleinste Kanalreinigungsfahrzeug mit Wasserrecycling

Die neue Ausstellungsfläche in der Rothenbach-Halle bot uns ideale Raum- und Lichtverhältnisse für ein modernes Messestandkonzept.

Unser Neugestaltung in Kombination mit Videopräsentationen transportierte die Informationen in innovativem Design. Lichtakzente und ein Kontrast aus hellen und dunklen Farben rundeten das Ambiente ab und boten ideale Voraussetzungen für unseren Produkt-Launch der beiden Weltneuheiten e-tec and ECO CAT Cityline.

Unser voll-elektrisches Kanalreinigungsfahrzeug e-tec verbindet durch das bewährte Nebenantriebssystem OMSI die Leistungsfähigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit eines vollwertigen Kanalreinigungsaufbaus mit Wasserrecycling mit dem zukunftsorientierten voll-elektrischen MAN TGS Trägerfahrgestell. Service und Instandhaltung des Fahrgestells können in gewohnter Weise durch autorisierte MAN-Serviceniederlassungen durchgeführt werden.

Als besondere Neuheit ist der e-tec mit dem neuen automatischen Türsystem Doormatic ausgestattet, das durch seine bedienerfreundlichen Features die ideale Lösung für die besonderen Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden bietet.

Großer Begeisterung erfreute sich auch unser ECO CAT Cityline, das kleinste Kanalreinigungsfahrzeug mit Wasserrecycling. Durch seine kompakte Bauweise, ist es ideal geeignet für die Befahrung von Innenstädten mit schmalen Gassen. Als All-in-one System bietet es die Leistungsfähigkeit eines Wasserrecyclers inkl. Kamerasystem ECO SCOUT.

Direkt angrenzend an die Rothenbach-Halle präsentierten sich auf unserem zusätzlichen Außenstand vier weitere Fahrzeuge und die neue sehende und schwebende Kameradüse SCOUT horizon.

Begeistert hat auch unsere neueste Lösung für die Sinkkastenreinigung: Der ECO VAC Cityline, ausgestattet mit dem patentierten Auslegersystem FrontFlex mit hydraulisch einziehbarer Auslegerkrümmung zum Fahren und Arbeiten in Frontposition. Dies vereint perfekte Ergonomie, sicheres Arbeiten vor dem Fahrzeug und freies Frontsichtfeld ohne Einschränkungen im Fahrbetrieb.

Einige unserer weiteren zahlreichen Highlights:

Der Super 1000 OW mit einem hydraulisch stufenlos verstellbaren Kolben, verzichtet auf festgelegte Arretierungspunkte. Die gleichmäßige und sichere Bewegung, komplett bis ans Behälterende erfordert technisch keine Endanschläge und sorgt für vollständige Entleerung.

Außerdem der Super 1000 mit Wasserrecycling, ausgestattet mit dem SPACER Front Auslegersystem mit extra-großem Arbeitsbereich. Ein XXL-Kleiderschrank und großflächige Geräteschränke mit Aluminium-Rollläden sorgen für genügend Stauraum.

Die Oberflächenveredelung PURE FINISH für Edelstahl und Aluminium verzichtet auf lackierte Oberflächen und sorgt für eine positive Umweltbilanz durch verringerte Verwendung von Lösungsmitteln. Die seidenmatte Optik kann pur verwendet oder mit Designfolierung individualisiert werden und sorgt für maximalen Qualitätsstandard und eine langfristige Werterhaltung.

Bei unseren Live-Vorführungen konnten die Besucher zwei Ausführungen der sehenden und schwebenden Kameradüse SCOUT besichtigen. Auf dem Innenstand stellte unser System SCOUT horizon⁺ mit neuem Sohlenreiniger und Schwenkkopfkamera seine brillante Bildqualität unter Beweis. Im Außengelände fanden Live-Vorführungen des SCOUT horizon-Systems kombiniert mit neuer Inspektions-Software statt.

Als Neuheit für den deutschen Markt stellten wir die IoT-Anwendung Cleveapp vor, ein System zum Flotten- und Auftragsdatenmanagement für die Abwasserentsorgungsbranche gemäß dem Standard Industrie 4.0. Das Auftrags-/Spüldaten- und Fahrzeugorganisationstool beinhaltet zahlreiche Applikationen für das Flottenmanagement mit Live-Kommunikation. Das System kann mit allen unseren Fahrzeugen kombiniert werden, auch die Einbeziehung von Bestandsfahrzeugen ist durch Nachrüstung möglich.

WIEDEMANN presents the first fully electric sewer cleaning vehicle with water recycling

RO-KA-TECH 2023 starts now and WIEDEMANN awaits their visitors at its indoor booth in the Rothenbach Hall (ROTH/B04) and in the outdoor area near the Rothenbach Hall with numerous new developments and two global innovations.

Under the name e-tec, WIEDEMANN presents the first full- electric sewer cleaning vehicle with water recycling. A MAN TGS chassis serves as the base vehicle, which has been converted into a fully electric carrier vehicle by an authorized MAN contract partner.

With the tried-and-tested OMSI power take-off system, the e-tec combines sustainable technology with usual effectiveness. This makes the vehicle ideal for operating full-fledged water recyclers with powerful pumps.

Up to 560 kW battery power is currently available and the new battery generation with up to 720 kW will be available soon in 2024. With an electric motor output of 375 kW and a torque of 2700 Nm, the SUPER 2000 from WIEDEMANN takes the next step towards a sustainable future.

The SUPER 2000 is equipped with a new automatic door system for equipment cabinets, the Doormatic. This offers safe and easy operation via a keypad and is protected against unauthorized access by a numerical code. The system is equipped with anti-trap protection with a light barrier and automatic switch-off. In emergency mode, the doors can also be operated manually.

Another global innovation at the WIEDEMANN booth: the ECO CAT Cityline – the smallest sewer cleaning vehicle with water recycling. Under the motto "smallest solution - highest performance", the new vehicle offers an excellent solution for demanding applications, especially in inner cities and old town areas with narrow alleys. Even in the smallest of spaces, the water recycling system from WIEDEMANN works with maximum efficiency.

Three different boom types, a smart application for order and flushing data management and the ECO SCOUT, a version of the seeing and flying camera nozzle specially developed for this vehicle, can be combined with the superstructure.

Built on a Mitsubishi Fuso Canter from 7.49 tons (suitable for driving license class 3 old) the ECO CAT Cityline is available in a width of 2.5 or 2.3 m.

For gully cleaning, WIEDEMANN presents the perfect solution for the tightest of locations: the ECO VAC Cityline. With the patented FrontFlex boom system, the operator can work and drive comfortably in front of the vehicle without swivelling away the boom. The boom bend, including the suction hose, can be fully retracted hydraulically so that the driver's field of vision is not impaired.

Live demonstrations of the latest generation of seeing and flying camera nozzles of the SCOUT horizon type will take place on the WIEDEMANN outdoor area. The SCOUT horizon+ system is now also available with a sole cleaner and a swivel head camera. The brilliant camera quality can be seen on the inside stand.⁺ ist nun auch mit einem Sohlenreiniger mit Schwenkkopfkamera verfügbar, deren brillante Kameraqualität auf dem Innenstand besichtigt werden kann.

The new PURE FINISH surface treatment, suitable for stainless steel and aluminum, makes a statement in terms of sustainability. The special finishing process not only creates a long-lasting and resistant surface, it also helps to protect the environment by reducing the use of paint and solvents. The PURE FINISH can be seen on the Super 2000 at the main entrance to the Rothenbach Hall and at ECO CAT Cityline and ECO VAC Cityline vehicles.

Sustainability and environmental awareness are increasingly shaping our everyday lives. Global movements are campaigning for a world which will be worth living in for the next hundred years and even longer. The developments in the technology industry provide many answers to current environmental problems. We look back with pride on the past 45 years, in which we have already made an extensive contribution to protecting the environment with our unique water recycling system.

Our flagship, the SUPER 2000, is unbeaten in the field of sewer cleaning with water recycling and has stood for the innovative power of WIEDEMANN for more than four decades. The SUPER 2000 is characterized by a high usable volume through optimal utilization of structural dimensions, a low centre of gravity and, above all, excellent water treatment quality. But even the best product can always be further developed to meet not only today's but also tomorrow's requirements.

It is precisely this look into the future that drives us to combine proven technology with modern developments and processing methods. The result is our new SUPER 2000, which our team presented in week 10 as part of a demonstration tour in northern Germany.

With this vehicle, we have, among other things, raised the surface finish to a new maximum quality standard, the Pure Finish: Elementary components such as containers and reels are made of durable stainless steel and were refined with a special blasting method in order to create permanently durable and visually attractive components . This is supplemented by anodised aluminium add-on parts that are used in the superstructure panelling. From several points of view, the finishing processes represent an enormous step in terms of sustainability:

Through the extensive use of stainless steel and aluminium components, the use of chemicals such as paints and thinners can be reduced to an absolute minimum. This significantly reduces aerosols and residual waste in production. In addition, these factors contribute to the long-term protection of employee health.

The Pure Finish surface treatment also has several advantages for you as a customer. You get a long-lasting vehicle with main components designed for a service life of well over 10-15 years. Stainless steel and aluminium are insensitive to most sewer cleaning materials, making rust and abrasion wear a thing of the past.

The surfaces are also highly resistant to external influences. Even after several years of maximum work, the appearance of the body can be retained in new condition. The SUPER 2000 with Pure Finish will certainly be an eye-catcher in your fleet too!

Another special feature characterizes our new SUPER 2000: the extension of our already well-known seeing and flying camera nozzle, which comes up with extended features under the new name SCOUT.

Our development team has taken on the challenges of daily use of the camera nozzle and has developed new solutions for the system. This resulted in a well-rounded package of modules that are available in three different versions.

Our SUPER 2000 demo vehicle is equipped with the SCOUT horizon⁺ system, which offers the most options among the camera systems and also bridges the gap to classic camera inspection.

The basis of the system is the rotary reel, which enables multiple bending at an angle of up to 90°. As a further feature, the system presents itself with a newly developed camera nozzle, digital video transmission and connection using an exchange cable. This means that any necessary replacement of the cable can be carried out on site and work can be continued immediately. The motorized cable drum installed here has a capacity of approx. 300 m, is suitable for connecting nozzle cameras of various sizes and sole cleaners and can be expanded for swivel head cameras and camera trolleys with an adapter connection. The cable is relieved by the independent, motorized unwinding, and if the cable is loose, the unwinding stops fully automatically.

A 12" touch tablet with full HD display serves as the centre of the SCOUT horizon and horizon⁺ systems. A Windows 10 operating system and sewer detection software are already pre-installed on the powerful hardware and are ready for immediate use. Customer and project data as well as inspections can be created and exported here. The management reports are presented graphically and in tabular form and the data can be made available to the end customer in license-free viewer software. A damage catalogue is optionally available.

User-friendliness and suitability for everyday use were the top priorities during development, so we integrated a tracking system into the SCOUT horizon⁺, for which a tracking device receiver is also available as an option.

All in all, the new SUPER 2000 combines future-oriented technology with resource-saving processing, durability and user-friendly solutions. We think the vehicle represents another milestone in our product range and our development and production team can be very proud of this achievement.

When the WIEDEMANN water recycling technology brought an enormous increase in performance in practice through the continuous cleaning performance on the sewer without interruptions for the filling of freshwater tanks, new operating concepts had to be developed to relieve the operator. At the time, it was particularly exhausting to continuously connect and disconnect the heavy suction hoses and lower and raise them in the shaft. WIEDEMANN quickly found a remedy and developed the suction hose reel. From then on, with the WIEDEMANN patent, it was child's play to raise and lower the heavy hoses easily and quickly in the manhole as often as you wanted at the touch of a button, simply by turning the horizontal reel on the top of the tank.

Today, the invention is an integral part of the market and has long since established itself in terms of appearance. For WIEDEMANN vehicles it was a unique selling point for more than 20 years, which characterized the unique design from afar.

In the WIEDEMANN enviro tec company logo, the depiction of the suction hose reel has been further abstracted. The colour blue with the powerfully curved graphics also includes the themes of water and movement and embodies reliability, durability, sustainability, but also flexibility, power and dynamism. The representation in the core with the analogy of yin and yang symbolizes the principles of balance, the mutual relation of all existence to each other and stands for the long-term, solid corporate policy, geared towards social, ecological and economic responsibility and mutually respectful business practices.
